Name of Distribution Company:
Blue Underground, Inc.
Company Mission Statement or Profile:
The entertainment company dedicated to guilty pleasures for adventurous movie lovers.
It's any time between the late '60s and mid '80s, and you're standing in front of a
decrepit movie theater in an unsavory part of town. The titles on the marquee called you
like a beacon. You were lured by the reputation of an obscure director, the talents of a
notorious star or even the promises made by an amazing poster. You honestly don't
know what you may be getting yourself into, or even if you'll get out of the theater alive.
For some strange and wonderful reason, you are compelled to see movies about
psychopaths, cops, robbers, zombies, cannibals, madmen, strange women and more,
with an audience often comprised of the same.
Today those theaters are gone, but that excitement - and these films - remain. These will
be definitive discs of some remarkable films, all fully restored, remastered and packed
with the most mind-blowing extras in the business.
We encourage your feedback, look forward to your support and appreciate your
enthusiasm. We're committed to bringing these movies out of the dark and back into
your life where they belong!

Name of Distribution Company:
LUX
Company Mission Statement or Profile:
LUX is an international arts agency for the support and promotion of artists’ moving
image practice and the ideas that surround it. LUX exists to provide access to, and
develop audiences for, artists' moving image work; to provide professional development
support for artists working with the moving image; and to contribute to and develop
discourse around practice.
Founded in 2002 as a charity and not-for-profit limited company, it builds on a lineage
of predecessor organisations (The London Filmmakers Co-operative, London Video Arts
and The Lux Centre) which stretches back to the 1960s. LUX is the only organisation of
its kind in the UK, it represents the country’s only significant collection of artists’ film
and video and is the largest distributor of such work in Europe (representing 4500
works by approximately 1500 artists from 1920s to the present day). LUX works with a
large number of major institutions including museums, galleries, festivals and
educational establishments, as well as directly with the public and artists. LUX receives
regular revenue funding from Arts Council England.
The particular focus of LUX is visual arts-based moving image work, a definition which
includes experimental film, video art, installation art, performance art, personal
documentary, essay films and animation and is inclusive both in terms of context and
critical discourse.
The organisation’s main activities are distribution - acting as an agent for artists who
work with the moving image; exhibition (screenings, gallery exhibitions, touring shows)
both independently and in partnership with other organisations; publishing (books,
DVDs, websites); commissioning both new art works and writing; research support for
curators, researchers and academics; professional development support for artists and
arts professionals and the development of research resources.

I've bought some Wajda, Skolimoski and Zanussi titles from there - with EST. (and using on line translator to do my shopping) - Though I can't see the Zanussi from your wish list.
http://brazilian-cinema.com/catalog/
Of course, good source for Brazilian films - and I had your wish list title Antonio das Mortes months ago - a 2 DVD edition, all extras with EST, and more substantial than announded release from UK. PLUS some surprising American films (Lubitsch's Merry Widow, Borzage's History is Made at Night &c &c &c &c). Some of these are a bit soft in image, but more than acceptable.

I learned a lot of information from this post. Thanks for the effort you took to expand upon this topic so thoroughly. I look forward to future post.
The Natural Health field is growing at a phenomenal rate throughout the world. And millions of Americans -- aware of the detrimental effects of drug-based western medicine -- are joining health oriented people around the globe in embracing an alternative natural approach.
