Advertising Agreement Requirements and Terms
Agency discount on space only is 15%. If your ad is a full page, we prefer that you send us a PDF (Portable Document Format) or PostScript file . This allows us more easily to send your advertisement directly to the printing plate, giving you higher quality reproduction. Your PDF or PostScript file should have all fonts and images embedded in the file and be created for high resolution output. If your ad is smaller than a full page, we would prefer that you save it as a Photoshop EPS file so that we can import it into our QuarkXPress layout. If you are using a spot color or Pantone color in your file, we request that you set this color up as 100% cyan, magenta or yellow to allow for proper color separation. All color ads must be accompanied by match print or chromalin proofs.
You may send your file on a zip disk or CD-ROM. If necessary, you may provide 133-line screened negatives (right-reading, emulsion side down) or camera-ready art work. Any typesetting, art production or digital transfer expenses are billed at cost. Cineaste is not responsible for errors or omissions from advertisers. No copy changes accepted one week from art/copy deadline.
Payment terms are Net 30 Days to advertisers with established accounts. Prepayment is necessary for all new accounts.
