Cineaste is a quarterly magazine (founded in 1967) which offers a social, political and esthetic perspective on the cinema. We are not affiliated with any organization or institution. We are interested in all areas of the cinema, including Hollywood films (old and new), American independents, quality European films, and the cinema of the Third World.
Our store site is currently being re-designed. The store is currently limited to U.S. Subscriptions, Foreign Subscriptions, The Current Issue, and Donations only.
Our back issues, books and DVDs will be available again in the near future. In the meantime, for further information or to receive a notice when the new store site is fully functional, please email cineaste@cineaste.com.
If you wish to order more than one copy, please refer to our FAQ page.
